Tectona, a French brand specialized in outdoor furniture, was established in 1977.
The brand is known for its distinctive style, inspired by neoclassical aesthetics, the charms of English Country Life, and the Arts and Crafts movement. Since its inception, Tectona quickly gained a leading position in the outdoor furniture market in France. Wood, woven resin, and aluminum are the preferred materials, crafted using traditional cabinetmaking techniques to ensure the products’ strength and durability. Tectona developed a mail-order sales system from the very beginning, which is now complemented by e-commerce and a series of showrooms. This direct-to-customer approach eliminates intermediaries, ensuring fast and efficient service. After establishing a strong presence in France and Switzerland, Tectona is now expanding its market towards Southern Europe with the opening of new retail locations in Italy and Spain.
