Over 70 years ago, in a small Friulian town renowned for its woodworking and chair making, the first Passoni workshop opened its doors. Today, the family-owned business is in its fourth generation, with a passion for the craft passed down from Luigi to Ermanno, Alvise, and Tommaso. In 1963, Passoni made its debut at the Milan Furniture Fair, marking the beginning of a journey devoted to design that has always remained true to natural materials and, above all, wood. The company’s certifications and accolades include being among the first Italian companies to use responsibly sourced FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified wood since 2009, which safeguards the forest, the environment, local communities, and workers. The company’s commitment to research and innovation earned it the ADI Design Index 2019 Award for sustainable design.
